The annual day - 2

After a record 12 hour journey to Bangalore we reach "The Green valley" the lap of nature . I missed something, the front glass of the bus broke, the driver demanded the money for the repair of the glass otherwise the bus will not move. People were dead tried and this was not how things are supposed to happen, however they reined their tongue .

At the resort not even a single person ( other than the organizer) had a clue what was happening , ants flying around, the food was cold, few went to get cool drinks only to be told will not be provided. People got really pissed off, many mouths started to speak about the way they things have been handled. Loud voiced clearly stated their intention.

Okay lets move away from this issues i do not have words to describe the melodrama. With their own money they bought the cool drinks and helped them self. Another group , actually they were regulars to the place, was having a great time to the DJ music, many just sat down and watched the show. For many this was the first time, they were actually seeing disco-thee. Booze and the dance made many realize why people are crazy about coming to "the happening city". I was too tried and went to bed.

The annual day - 1

So like every company with its HR policies we had our annual day. No one in his wildest senses could have expected what happened . we started our journey on the faithful day 27/5/09 from chennai office. Three vehicles were arranged two Tempo traveler and one bus.

The fun started from the first step, the bus even it was air bus it did not have ac running. We started one hour late and the route we took was easily the busiest route in chennai. It took almost two hours just to reach Poonamalle. We realized that our was the best vehicle, we had music system, ac running properly and we had the jolly group "Alagu and co".

We continued our way to Bangalore, reached Hosur around 4 pm. We waited for the other vehicle to catch up. Other vehicle did catch up rather it did not even wait for us. We reach the check post, we were asked to pay Rs 2000 but the actual amount was 900 and the bill was made for 900.

Some one from Bangalore had a brilliant idea and mentioned a short cut to reach the resort but he/she herself has not traveled the route , the idea was basically to by pass Bangalore. We started with that road rather it was a national high way , but there was no road only potholes and mud track. The night has already started and the visibility was low . The resort name was " Green Valley resort ",one my colleague on the way saw the "General valley " written on the bill board. We all were very happy we reached the place, only to know that the "Matriculation school" was written in small letter.

So we continued our travel to the valley we saw no roads the cell phone was unreachable and people were irritated. We traveled and reached the bypass road to Bangalore and discovered the actual road to "The Green valley" total dirt track good for testing how good the build quality of the vehicle was. The bus was swaying to a dangerous extent. We at last reached the lap of nature after 12 hour of journey , almost twice the time taken for travel ling from chennai to Bangalore.
