Bandipur National Park

Had a great weekend.

I went to the Bandipur forest range near mysore with my previous company collegues. It was a long travel, the basic idea was having a get together so it didnot matter much.

We did not expect the scenery to be so good. We went to a temple on a hill top an old temple and i wondered why people get the idea of building on top of the hill. When we reached there, the time was about five, thick fog started to form and the visibility was reduced to ten feet.

I and with my friend got bold to have a small trek in the surrounding. The place had thick growth of vegetation and the hill had down ward slops and u cannot see much beyond five feet.

The next day we went for safari. The thrill of the life time was when the elephant gave a chase to us, the camera which was used for taking the photos ran out of memory otherwise a photo which can sent to the discovery channel contest would have been taken .

I want to go for tent camping in the forest but i think it is not feasible or any info towards that is welcome. I made plan for visiting kerala hope to have the same fun.
